It was upon that Saturday that Maria Adriane did visit for the first time the lands of this society. Together, they assisted with the running of the tournament lists, and made the most charming acquaintance of His Highness Prince Lucan. As the afternoon waxed chill, Maria and Alheydis pursposed themselves to acquire wood for the hearth from a nearby market, while enjoying the warming properties of effervescent wines. As the house settled for the night, the weather grew ominous. In the small hours of the morn, it was decided to break camp and return to warmth of the manor. The following day, the house returned to the campstead to retreave the households goods. The weather having grwon more pleasant, the family stayed to witness a play presented by the youth of the land. It was here that Ciarán made his debut in the thespian arts. As time for their departure grew close, Gyles did purchase a pendant of silver for Alheydis, to remind her of, and yet compensate for, the violent winds of the night before.
